A lovely, well written review of local Starved Rock State Park. Been to this park many times and is one of my favorite destinations. I prefer to visit during the winter when tourists are fewer, and there is just something magical about this park in the winter.

So how beautiful is Starved Rock? I have always said I would explore one day.
Starved Rock Park is a lovely Illinois Park. Getting pretty busy during the summer. My favorite time is late fall through the winter time. Beautiful destination. Mathiessen State Park that I reviewed on the blog is just a few miles away. Both have similar formations around the park. Thanks for reading
