Guest Spotlight – Mix and Tangle

A month or so ago I came across a very talented artist doing some unique work. The series below was running on her blog and it caught me eye. Since I am a career Paramedic that grew up in the era of the television seriesย “Emergency”,ย this artwork stirred a nostalgic memory along with a great sense of joy that someone was paying a special tribute to our industry.

Mix and Tangleย is the a blog created by Anna Grantย – a collection of very unique and creative artwork. Head on over to her page and give her some love – she’s super talented.

Below are my two favorites and a nod to my fellow EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters, Physicians, nurses, and Law Enforcement. Here’s to you Anna ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for capturing some of our heroes.

I have really enjoyed drawing the characters from Emergency these last few days! I think this drawing is my favorite of the two. ๐Ÿ˜Š Do you have someone or something you would like me to draw for you? Let me know down below or send me a request. I love hearing from yโ€™all!ย ๐Ÿ˜Š

I had so much fun drawing these TV characters! I tried to fit in John Gage and Roy DeSoto, but the drawing was too crowded with five people so they will make an appearance in Part Two. ๐Ÿ˜Š There were two things that were difficult to conquer with this drawingโ€ฆ Dixie McCallโ€™s hair color andย [โ€ฆ]
